The people of Epworth UMC are constantly at work being the hands and feet of God by serving the needs of our community. If you are interested in participating in one of these opportunities, or if you have an idea of your own, please call the church office and we will put you in touch with the right person! 775.423.4714

Together with many other local churches and organizations, we serve free homemade hot suppers on Mondays and Thursdays here at the church. We serve from 4:45pm - 6:00pm. Come any time, everyone is welcome. Contact Ron or Barbara Evans at 775.423.2650 if you have any questions.

Provides hot showers and laundry services on Mondays and Tuesdays in the Wolf Center. We provide all of the cleaning and shower supplies via donations, and have a small fund to help provide for other needs. Contact Margaret Knox at 775.217.3391.

Provides food and clothing to those in need, and is open on Mondays from 10:00am-1:00pm. Volunteers are always needed to help sort, organize, and distribute food. Call the church office at 775.423.4714 to help, and ask for Mary Nelson.

Provides free new or gently used clothing to kids and adults in need. We are so glad to partner with the local foster care program especially, to provide good clothing to families in crisis and make this difficult time a bit easier.
